The Airshow

The Stafford Airshow will be an exciting event for the whole family! Something for everyone to enjoy and remember for a long time. Here are the performers lined up to participate.

-
Skydiver - Opens the show with smoke and a large American flag during the National Anthem.
-
Joe Bender - wing walker on a Boeing Stearman bi-plane. There are only a few dozen wing walkers in the world and Joe is one of them.
-
Scott Francis - Aerobatics in an MXS monoplane. One of only 12 in the world. It has a roll rate of more than one roll per second.
-
RJ Gritter - RJ provides two distinct acts: amazing performance in an iconic Piper Cub (you'll wonder how the aircraft can fly that way) and outstanding aerobatics in a high-wing Bellanca Decathlon.
-
TBM Avenger - WWII torpedo bomber fly by. Largest and heaviest single-engine bomber of WWII with a 1,900 hp radial engine.
-
Warbird Thunder - Two North American T-6/SNJ advanced trainers from WWII performing aerobatics over runway 33 at Stafford Regional Airport.
-
Stearman formation - A classy demonstration of the precise flying necessary to keep several of these WWII primary trainer bi-planes in perfect formation.
-
F-100 Super Sabre - Giant scale RC aircraft. (Almost 9 foot wingspan!) Jet powered, this North American F-100 looks and flies just like the full-size warbird. Top speed is 175 mph.
